Kindergarten Memory Books

I just wanted to share the kindergarten memory books that we make every year.  Excuse how blurry the pictures are but this was taken in 2011 with my old iphone.  The picture quality wasn't as good as it is now with the new iphones.  I seem to always forget to take pictures when I get super busy towards the end of the school year...so I don't have any pictures of the ones we made this year.:(

I bought the book called: Making Memories Month by Month, at a teacher store when I first started teaching.  If your interested in purchasing it, Creative Teaching Press has it as an ebook.  I really like this book, especially since it has a lot of cute ideas for each month.
Our memory books are very simple, each page has a copy of a monthly poem, student picture, handprint, and a sample of their writing (as a whole group we discuss what we have learned for that month).

For the cover I used one of the alphabet fonts that I purchased at Lettering Delights and on the back of the cover I made a simple letter for all my kindergarten friends.  When our memory book is almost complete, the last thing I have my students do is sign each other's autograph page.  They seem to really enjoy doing this!
