Happy New Year - Linky doubles is always fun!;)

How fun it is to view all these wonderful blogs in the blog world.  I've decided to join up and link up with Farley at 'Oh' Boy Fourth Grade' for the January Currently.
Listening: My husband walks away to go upstairs and leaves the T.V. on while his favorite show is playing in the background as I am on the computer.  How fun...NOT, lol.  I should be listening to music, but hey at least he was in the same room with me for once, heehee.

Loving: I can't tell you how much I was looking forward to winter break.  I just needed it so that I could relax and refresh my mind with new ideas for 2014.  I've also enjoyed spending time with my babies, 'Pookie and Canelo.'  I think being at home for these two weeks has caused them to get really spoiled with the quality time that we were able to have together.  Plus...I do love my PJs, I mean who doesn't like being comfortable at home.  I know that I do, its like I'm sporting a new pair of PJs every day.  My hubby and friends even gave me some new ones on Christmas, lol.  They all know me so well.;)

Thinking:  'Do I really have to put away the Christmas Decorations?'  I just love how it makes the house look so festive and it's truly my most favorite holiday of all!  I know that it's time...maybe tomorrow, or the day after.:)

Wanting: The last time that I went shopping for clothes was I would say...two months ago.  I think its time to stop by my most favorite store 'Maurices' and see what they have for the new year.  There's always a good reason to go shopping...

Needing:  Oh, my where did winter break go!!??  I feel that I need more time to get everything that I need done.  Wouldn't it be nice to add an extra hour on the clock, I know that I would definitely appreciate it.

Memory: When I think about my puppy 'Canelo,' it always brings a smile to face.  I am so grateful to have found him when I need him the most.  He has truly brought a lot of happiness, joy, and laughter into my heart and home.  He just turned 1 yrs old and I just love, love, love him to pieces.

Now to link #2:
Day 2: Crafting and Creating
My friend and I had a crafting day on New Year's Eve.  Aren't we party animals or what!?  We busted out the wine and had a grand ole' time!
I have to share some pictures of that day!  If you know me, then you know how crazy I am about 'Hello Kitty!'  My hubby gave me some 'Hello Kitty' earrings and I was a happy little wife.  I had to wear them on New Year's Eve!

It was the first time that I used my Cameo that night and it was Christmas all over again, lol.
You don't know how long I've been waiting to get one of these babies.  I'm very thankful to have been able to get it when they were haven't the holiday bundle deal.
After figuring out how to connect it and downloading the software, we went to look for some templates.  There were so many cute templates that we could download at the silhouette online store.  I tried to not go overboard and picked a few to test it out.
It was so much fun and we were able to finish making all of these before we went outside to view the fireworks at the strip from a hill in our neighborhood.  Awesome!
As you can see, I had my headband on backwards.  I was holding my headband in my hand so I wouldn't lose it as we walked up the hill in time for the count down and little did I know that it was on backwards, lol.

I can't wait to use it more and have more 'Craft Days' with my good friend Sweetp.  Happy New Year!!:)

  2. I agree, I need a break from my winter break. I had a so many projects lined up, and I accomplished none of them. Well, that's not true. I wanted to get some reading done over the break and I did read one book; so, the break is not a total loss :-) One of my favorite things about the break is lying around in pajamas. Every year my mom gives me a pair. It's a Christmas tradition. My boys watch Adventure time too. That's the weirdest cartoon ever. And I sometimes find myself engrossed in it. The creator has to be high when creating episodes...lol. I enjoyed your currently. I just created my teacher blog, but I am not new to blogging. I sometime write on my weight loss blog...when I remember that I am supposed to be inspiring others to losing weight :-)
